My wellness journey began in 2006 when my mother encouraged me to explore a career in massage therapy, recognizing my "gifted strong hands." Leaving a high-stress job, I enrolled in massage school, where I discovered my true passion: assisting others in alleviating pain. In 2009, I took a leap of faith by renting an office in Wauwatosa, bringing Anointed Hands Massage Therapy to life. By 2011, I had fully committed to self-employment, marking the beginning of a rewarding career dedicated to enhancing the well-being of my clients.

After years of providing daily massages, I realized that my dedication to my clients was overshadowing my own self-care, which began to take a toll on my body. In pursuit of a fitness regimen that would enhance my strength and joint mobility, I sought methods to ensure my longevity in the massage profession. My exploration led me to Pilates, where I experienced not only pain relief and reduced tension but also a newfound sense of energy that invigorated my work. This personal journey inspired me to pursue Pilates instructor training, as I firmly believe that everyone should benefit from this transformative, low-impact exercise system that can enhance overall health.

In 2018, I completed my comprehensive teacher training at the Pilates Center and established Anointed Hands Massage and Pilates Studio. Teaching Pilates has enriched my massage practice by deepening my understanding of body movement and alignment. By integrating the therapeutic benefits of massage with Pilates, I assist clients in recovering from pain, building strength, and developing body awareness, which is essential for overall health and wellness. My commitment to this holistic approach allows clients to experience transformative benefits that extend beyond the studio.
